The Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides safety training and compliance services from locations in Beaumont and Baytown, Texas. It serves the petrochemical, refining, offshore, marine, pipeline and energy sectors. Its offerings include site-specific and general safety courses, OSHA online training, pipeline operator qualification training, background checks, occupational medicine, TWIC, and gate access badging. ISTC has been in business since 1991, and its board is made up of representatives from regional industrial owners and contractors.
