ERM (Environmental Resources Management) is a sustainability consultancy that says it has more than 50 years of environmental, health, safety, risk and social experience, and has been in business in the UK since 1971. Its health and safety practice covers technical and functional safety, contractor and construction safety, health and safety management systems and audits, industrial hygiene, occupational health, psychosocial risk, and capability development and training. The firm also advises clients on setting sustainability targets, measuring progress and implementing strategy. It lists clients in energy, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, technology, media and telecommunications, mining and minerals, and manufacturing. The firm says it has more than 8,000 people in over 140 offices across more than 40 countries and territories.
