Clean Harbors

Clean Harbors is an environmental and industrial services company founded in 1980 and headquartered in Norwell, Massachusetts. It began as a four-person tank cleaning business. Its services include hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, recycling, industrial cleaning and maintenance, field services and 24-hour emergency spill response, and it provides parts cleaning through its Safety-Kleen subsidiary. The company says it responds to more than 21,000 emergencies each year from more than 100 response locations in North America, and that its hazardous material spill crews are 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained. Clean Harbors says it has more than 25,000 employees and more than 400 service locations across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
