Washington, DC-based American Red Cross division offering OSHA-compliant first aid, CPR, AED and BLS training for workplaces through on-site, blended, virtual and train-the-trainer options.
American Red Cross Training Services is a division of the American Red Cross, which Clara Barton and associates founded in 1881 and which is headquartered in Washington, DC. For organizations, it offers group training in first aid, CPR, AED and Basic Life Support, along with programs for healthcare providers, first responders, schools and aquatics facilities. Employers can choose on-site training, where an instructor comes to their location with all equipment, blended learning, virtual skills sessions, or a program that trains their own staff as Red Cross instructors. The organization says its workplace first aid, CPR and AED courses meet state and OSHA requirements, and students who complete them receive a two-year Red Cross certification.
